Ausgestattet ist die Station mit 33 Q.Peak Duo L-G8 Solarmodulen von Q-Cells mit einer Gesamtleistung von rund 14 Kilowatt. Laut NUNCATS ist dies das erste Objekt dieser Art in Europa.<\/p>\n<p>Im Einsatz ist die Ladestation derzeit bei einem Flugzeug vom Typ Zenith 750. Dieser Prototyp verf\u00fcgt \u00fcber eine 30-Kilowattstunden-Batterie, die es dem Leichtflugzeug erm\u00f6glicht, etwa eine halbe Stunde in der Luft zu bleiben. Das System verwendet derzeit ein 5-Kilowatt-Einphasenladeger\u00e4t. Allerdings kann die Ladeinfrastruktur angepasst und verbessert werden, sodass ihr Einsatz in einem breiteren Spektrum potenzieller Anwendungen m\u00f6glich wird.
