Der Preis f\u00fcr polykristallines Silizium (Polysilizium) in Solarqualit\u00e4t ist in den letzten zehn Jahren stetig gesunken und lag im Jahr 2020 schlie\u00dflich bei weniger als 6 Dollar pro Kilogramm. Im selben Jahr kam es jedoch aus verschiedenen Gr\u00fcnden zu begrenzten Vorr\u00e4ten an Polysilizium und die Preise steigen seitdem kontinuierlich an.<\/p>\n<p>Als Folge stiegen die Preise f\u00fcr Polysilizium im vergangenen Jahr auf rund 40 Dollar pro Kilogramm, was sich auf die gesamte Wertsch\u00f6pfungskette auswirkte. Zwischen M\u00e4rz und Ende 2021 stiegen die Preise f\u00fcr Solarmodule und -zellen um 13 %, die Waferpreise um 54 % und die Preise f\u00fcr Polysilizium in Solarqualit\u00e4t um 177 %. (<a href=\"https:\/\/rethinkresearch.biz\/articles\/polysilicon-woes-will-end-within-18-months-says-rethink\/\">Rethink Energy<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>Einem Bericht von Rethink Energy zufolge sind f\u00fcr den Rohstoffmangel mehrere Faktoren verantwortlich. China hat mit seinem billigen Polysilizium viele Unternehmen aus dem Gesch\u00e4ft gedr\u00e4ngt; Gleichzeitig f\u00fchrten sinkende Preise zu einem Stopp der Investitionen in neue Produktionskapazit\u00e4ten. Im Jahr 2021 betrug die weltweite Produktionskapazit\u00e4t f\u00fcr Polysilizium lediglich 621.000 Tonnen, w\u00e4hrend das tats\u00e4chliche Angebot lediglich 579.000 Tonnen betrug, was die j\u00e4hrliche Solarstromproduktion auf etwa 180 GW begrenzte. Die Coronavirus-Pandemie und Probleme in der Lieferkette sind weitere Faktoren, die zum derzeitigen Mangel an Polysilizium beitragen. Gleichzeitig steigt der Photovoltaik-Zubau jedes Jahr weiter an und d\u00fcrfte bis 2022 die Marke von 220 GW \u00fcberschreiten. Anfang 2022 k\u00fcndigten viele Unternehmen eine Erweiterung ihrer Produktionskapazit\u00e4t f\u00fcr Solarsilizium auf fast 4 Millionen Tonnen an. Zwei Drittel dieser Kapazit\u00e4t w\u00fcrden ausreichen, um j\u00e4hrlich 900 GW Photovoltaikanlagen zu produzieren. \u201eDie Produktionskapazit\u00e4t wird sich in diesem Jahrzehnt im Vergleich zu 2020 mehr als vervierfachen\u201c, sagte Andries Wantenaar, Analyst bei Rethink Energy und Hauptautor des Berichts. (<a href=\"https:\/\/rethinkresearch.biz\/articles\/polysilicon-woes-will-end-within-18-months-says-rethink\/\">Rethink Energy<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>Da der Bau einer Polysiliziumfabrik jedoch etwa zwei Jahre dauert, kann man davon ausgehen, dass es bis Mitte 2023 zu Rohstoffengp\u00e4ssen kommen wird, die die Expansion der Branche einschr\u00e4nken. \u201eDer Mangel an Polysilizium wird die weltweiten Solarinstallationen noch bis Mitte 2023 begrenzen [\u2026]. \u201eDer Preis f\u00fcr Polysilizium wird in mindestens 5 Jahren wieder das Rekordtief von 2020 erreichen, danach aber weiter sinken\u201c, sagt Vantenaar.<\/p>\n<p>Die Studie prognostiziert, dass die enormen neuen Produktionskapazit\u00e4ten f\u00fcr Polysilizium, die letztlich das Nachfragewachstum \u00fcbertreffen werden, bis 2025 zu einem \u00dcberangebot f\u00fchren werden.
