Denn aktuellen Sch\u00e4tzungen zufolge wird die Menge an weggeworfenen Solarmodulen allein in Deutschland bis Ende der 2020er Jahre auf \u00fcber 100.000 Tonnen pro Jahr ansteigen. (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pv-magazine.de\/2021\/11\/10\/solar-materials-will-rohstoffkreislauf-von-photovoltaik-modulen-schliessen\/\">pv-magazine<\/a>, 11\/10\/2021)<\/p>\n<p>Das Fraunhofer-Center f\u00fcr Silizium-Photovoltaik CSP und das Fraunhofer-Institut f\u00fcr Solare Energiesysteme ISE haben gemeinsam mit dem Modulrecycling-Unternehmen Reiling ein Verfahren entwickelt, um Silizium aus alten kristallinen Solarmodulen im industriellen Ma\u00dfstab zu recyceln, sodass es erneut zur Herstellung neuer PERC-Solarzellen eingesetzt werden kann. Eine Einschr\u00e4nkung auf bestimmte Hersteller sollte es nicht geben: \u201eUns war es wichtig, einen skalierbaren Prozess zu entwickeln, der auch wirtschaftlich sinnvoll ist\u201c, betont Peter Dold, Projektleiter am Fraunhofer CSP. \u201eIm Labor ist vieles m\u00f6glich, unser neues Verfahren muss sich allerdings in der Recyclingindustrie bew\u00e4hren.\u201c (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pv-magazine.de\/2022\/02\/08\/fraunhofer-ise-fertigt-perc-solarzellen-aus-recyceltem-silizium-mit-197-prozent-wirkungsgrad\/\">pv-magazine<\/a>, 2\/8\/2022)<\/p>\n<p>F\u00fcr dieses Verfahren werden Solarzellenfragmente aus Nebenprodukten eines bereits etablierten mechanischen Recyclingprozesses gesammelt. Am Fraunhofer CSP werden diese 0,1 bis 1 Millimeter gro\u00dfen Fragmente durch verschiedene Sortierverfahren von Plastik und Glas getrennt. Anschlie\u00dfend werden R\u00fcckkontakt, Silberkontakte, Antireflexschicht und Emitter durch nasschemisches \u00c4tzen schrittweise entfernt. Aus dem aufbereiteten Silizium werden monokristalline oder quasi-monokristalline Ingots hergestellt, die anschlie\u00dfend zu Wafern weiterverarbeitet werden. Die Kristallisation erfolgt unter Verwendung von 100 % recyceltem Silizium ohne Zusatz von hochreinem Silizium. Im ersten Testlauf erreichten die recycelten PERC-Solarzellen einen Wirkungsgrad von 19,7 Prozent.
