In dem Papier \u201eDie Geopolitik der Energiewende: Der Wasserstofffaktor\u201c beschreibt IRENA, wie der Kraftstoff den globalen Energiemarkt langfristig umkrempeln k\u00f6nnte: So d\u00fcrften neue geopolitische Machtzentren entstehen, die auf der Produktion und Nutzung von Wasserstoff basieren, w\u00e4hrend der Handel mit fossilen Energietr\u00e4gern sukzessive reduziert wird. Russland hat bereits Pl\u00e4ne angek\u00fcndigt, bis 2030 20 % des weltweiten Wasserstoffbedarfs zu produzieren. In das Projekt sollen 9 Milliarden Rubel (rund 103 Millionen Euro) investiert werden, erkl\u00e4rte der russische Ministerpr\u00e4sident Michail Mischustin im Oktober 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Basierend auf der Verpflichtung der internationalen Gemeinschaft, Netto-Null-Emissionen zu erreichen, sch\u00e4tzt IRENA, dass Wasserstoff bis 2050 bis zu 12 % des weltweiten Energieverbrauchs decken k\u00f6nnte. \u201eWasserstoff k\u00f6nnte das fehlende Bindeglied zu einer gr\u00fcnen Energiezukunft sein\u201c, sagte Francesco La Camera, Generaldirektor von IRENA. (pv-magazine)<\/p>\n<p>Allerdings wird gr\u00fcner Wasserstoff voraussichtlich erst in den 2030er Jahren gegen\u00fcber Wasserstoff aus fossilen Brennstoffen konkurrenzf\u00e4hig sein.<\/p>\n<p>F\u00fcr k\u00fcnftige Wasserstoffproduzenten bringt die Verringerung der Abh\u00e4ngigkeit von Energieimporten Vorteile: Gezielte Investitionen in den Markt werden so die Wettbewerbsf\u00e4higkeit steigern und mit neuen bilateralen Abkommen die au\u00dfenpolitische Landschaft ver\u00e4ndern. Allerdings weist IRENA auch auf die Gefahr hin, dass die Entwicklungsl\u00e4nder in eine noch gr\u00f6\u00dfere Abh\u00e4ngigkeit von den Energie exportierenden Industriel\u00e4ndern geraten, wenn diesem Szenario nicht durch erhebliche Investitionen und Technologietransfers entgegengewirkt wird. Derzeit sind dies vor allem jene L\u00e4nder, die \u00fcber das technologische Know-how verf\u00fcgen, um mit Brennstoffzellen und anderen Technologien gr\u00fcnen Wasserstoff kosteng\u00fcnstig herzustellen.
