{"id":1864,"date":"2021-12-22T16:05:34","date_gmt":"2021-12-22T13:05:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/solar-schools.org\/in-search-for-new-batteries\/"},"modified":"2025-02-19T18:34:54","modified_gmt":"2025-02-19T15:34:54","slug":"in-search-for-new-batteries","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/solar-schools.org\/de\/in-search-for-new-batteries\/","title":{"rendered":"Die Zukunft der Batterien: Nachhaltige Alternativen zu Lithium-Ionen-Batterien finden"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Die Nachhaltigkeit von Lithium-Ionen-Akkus ist umstritten: Ein hoher Rohstoffbedarf verschlechtert ihre \u00d6kobilanz; Auch die Abbaubedingungen, undurchsichtige Lieferketten und die ungel\u00f6ste Recyclingfrage sind Argumente, die gegen Lithium-Ionen-Akkus ins Feld gef\u00fchrt werden. Der genaue Rohstoffverbrauch dieser Batteriesysteme variiert je nach Batterietyp. Zu den in Lithium-Ionen-Batterien verwendeten Rohstoffen z\u00e4hlen neben Lithium, das mit etwa 5 Prozent nur einen kleinen Anteil am Gesamtgewicht der Akkus ausmacht, auch Kupfer, Aluminium, Nickel, Graphit und Kobalt, die ebenfalls kritisch diskutiert werden. Daher ist man bestrebt, Technologien zu entwickeln, die mit m\u00f6glichst wenigen problematischen Rohstoffen auskommen.<\/p>\n<p>Daher erscheint es sinnvoll, auch wenn derzeit kein Lithiummangel droht, nach Alternativen f\u00fcr kommerzielle Batteriesysteme zu suchen. Im Jahr 2006 wurden Vanadium-Redox-Flow-Batterien bereits als Alternative im station\u00e4ren Bereich kommerzialisiert. Diese Batterien zeichnen sich durch eine hohe Zyklenfestigkeit aus. Der Nachteil dieser Batteriesysteme besteht in der relativ komplexen Konstruktion, da Speichertanks und Pumpsysteme ben\u00f6tigt werden. In j\u00fcngerer Zeit sind auch Kalzium- und Natrium-Ionen-Batterien auf dem Markt erschienen.<\/p>\n<p>Das Fraunhofer-Institut f\u00fcr Integrierte Systeme und Bauelementetechnologie (IISB) forscht seit f\u00fcnf Jahren an Aluminium-Ionen-Batterien. Die Forschungsergebnisse sind nun Ausgangspunkt f\u00fcr den vom Bundesministerium f\u00fcr Bildung und Forschung gef\u00f6rderten Forschungsverbund \u201eAlbatros\u201c, in dem neben dem IISB das Dechema-Institut aus Frankfurt am Main, die Iolitec GmbH aus Heilbronn und das Institut f\u00fcr Anorganische Chemie der Technischen Universit\u00e4t Bergakademie Freiberg kooperieren. Auch wenn die Serienreife noch in weiter Ferne liegt, sind die Ergebnisse bisheriger Untersuchungen des Fraunhofer IISB vielversprechend. Die Ladeeffizienz der Aluminium-Ionen-Akkus lag nach 10.000 Zyklen immer noch bei 90 Prozent und auch die Ladegeschwindigkeit lag in den Testversuchen mit nur 30 Sekunden im vielversprechenden Bereich.
