Neuer Weltrekord f\u00fcr die Effizienz von Tandem-Solarzellen erreicht. Mit einer Perowskit-Silizium-Solarzelle haben Helmholtz-Forscher in Berlin erstmals einen Wirkungsgrad von 29,8 Prozent erreicht.<\/p>\n

Das Mineral Perowskit kommt wie Silizium in der Erdkruste vor, wird mittlerweile aber auch k\u00fcnstlich hergestellt. Aufgrund ihrer physikalischen Eigenschaften k\u00f6nnen reine Siliziummodule theoretisch einen Wirkungsgrad von 29,3 Prozent erreichen. Bei sogenannten Tandemmodulen, die Halbleitermaterialien kombinieren, sollen Werte von bis zu 40 Prozent m\u00f6glich sein \u2013 theoretisch. Eine derartige Effizienz wurde in der Praxis bisher nicht erreicht.<\/p>\n

Oxford PV, das im Dezember 2020 einen Solarzellenwirkungsgradrekord von 29,52 Prozent aufstellte, plant zudem, ab 2022 in Brandenburg an der Havel erstmals mit der Serienproduktion von Peroskit-auf-Sicon-Tandemsolarzellen zu beginnen.<\/p>\n

Das HZB geht davon aus, dass das Erreichen noch besserer Werte im Bereich des M\u00f6glichen liegt. So vermuten die Forscher beispielsweise, dass sich durch eine Nanostrukturierung der Absorberschichten auf beiden Seiten die Leistung noch weiter steigern lie\u00dfe. Auf diese Weise k\u00f6nnten schon bald Wirkungsgrade von deutlich \u00fcber 30 Prozent erreicht werden, hei\u00dft es. \u201eDies k\u00f6nnte die Photovoltaikindustrie schon in naher Zukunft revolutionieren\u201c, erkl\u00e4rt Steve Albrecht vom HZB.
