In ihrem Abschlussdokument verst\u00e4ndigte sich die internationale Gemeinschaft auf ein breites Spektrum an Ma\u00dfnahmen und Absichtserkl\u00e4rungen.<\/p>\n<p>Die Reaktionen auf die Konferenzergebnisse waren sehr unterschiedlich. W\u00e4hrend einige prominente Politiker von Erfolgen sprechen, bezeichnen Umweltaktivisten die Ergebnisse als unzureichend. \u201eDer notwendige gro\u00dfe Sprung nach vorne im Klimaschutz ist gescheitert\u201c, erkl\u00e4rte der Bundesverband der Deutschen Industrie (BDI) und deutete an, dass auch nach der Konferenz eine gro\u00dfe Kluft zwischen den einzelnen L\u00e4ndern hinsichtlich der Klimaziele bestehen geblieben sei. (renen.ru)<\/p>\n<p>Auf der COP26-Konferenz sagte der Chef der Internationalen Energieagentur (IEA), Fatih Birol, dass \u201ealle bisher angek\u00fcndigten Klimaverpflichtungen, wenn sie rechtzeitig und vollst\u00e4ndig umgesetzt w\u00fcrden, ausreichen w\u00fcrden, um den globalen Temperaturanstieg bis 2100 auf 1,8\u00b0C zu begrenzen.\u201c (renen.ru)<\/p>\n<p>Allerdings gehen die freiwilligen Verpflichtungen von 151 L\u00e4ndern f\u00fcr 2030 davon aus, dass bis zum Ende des Jahrhunderts ein Temperaturanstieg von 2,4\u00b0C prognostiziert wird. China ist f\u00fcr rund 30 Prozent der weltweiten Treibhausgasemissionen verantwortlich und hat bis 2030 keine Pl\u00e4ne, seine Emissionen zu senken. Dann w\u00e4re das 1,5-Grad-Ziel nicht mehr zu erreichen. (tagesschau.de, 14.11.21) Berechnungen zeigen, dass zur Erreichung dieses Ziels die Emissionen bis 2030 halbiert werden m\u00fcssten. (COP26)<\/p>\n<p>Zudem muss anerkannt werden, dass die Industriel\u00e4nder ihren Verpflichtungen zur Klimafinanzierung aus dem Pariser Abkommen von 2015 nicht nachgekommen sind. Ab 2020 sind j\u00e4hrliche Investitionen von 100 Milliarden Dollar vorgesehen, um den armen L\u00e4ndern dabei zu helfen, ihre Emissionen zu senken und mit den Auswirkungen des Klimawandels umzugehen. Es ist nicht zu erwarten, dass diese Investitionsh\u00f6he in den n\u00e4chsten Jahren erreicht wird.<\/p>\n<p>Die wichtige Botschaft ist jedoch, dass sich auf der COP26 Dutzende L\u00e4nder zum schrittweisen Ausstieg aus der Kohlekraft verpflichtet haben. Durch die reduzierten Betriebsstunden von Kohlekraftwerken sinkt deren Rentabilit\u00e4t im Vergleich zu erneuerbaren Energiequellen erheblich. Bereits im j\u00fcngsten G20-Bericht hie\u00df es, mehrere L\u00e4nder seien nicht mehr bereit, in internationale Kohleprojekte zu investieren. Im Abschlussdokument der Klimakonferenz hei\u00dft es nun, der Ausstieg aus der Kohlekraft m\u00fcsse beschleunigt werden und zudem m\u00fcssten ineffiziente Subventionen f\u00fcr fossile Energietr\u00e4ger wie Gas abgebaut werden. Dies war im Pariser Abkommen noch nicht enthalten. (tagesschau.de, 14.-21.11.)<\/p>\n<p>Zahlreiche L\u00e4nder haben zudem angek\u00fcndigt oder sich bereits dazu verpflichtet, bis etwa zur Mitte des Jahrhunderts Klimaneutralit\u00e4t zu erreichen (darunter die EU, Brasilien, Australien, die USA und Russland). (Wikipedia)<\/p>\n<p>Dar\u00fcber hinaus wurden auf der diesj\u00e4hrigen Klimakonferenz zahlreiche Initiativen ins Leben gerufen bzw. ausgebaut. Beispielsweise wurde zu Beginn der Konferenz die Forest Protection Initiative gegr\u00fcndet, der sich mehr als 100 L\u00e4nder anschlossen. \u00dcberraschenderweise gaben die USA eine gemeinsame Erkl\u00e4rung mit China heraus.
