Im Juni 2021 lie\u00dfen bundesweit sieben Solarparkbetreiber ihre Standorte durch Biologen auf die Artenvielfalt der dort lebenden Tiere und Pflanzen untersuchen. Umgesetzt wurde das Projekt vom Bundesverband Neue Energiewirtschaft (bne) in Kooperation mit der Zeitschrift GEO. Nun hat der bne die Ergebnisse seiner Untersuchung ver\u00f6ffentlicht. \u201eBei allen untersuchten P\u00e4rken handelt es sich um jeweils artspezifische Habitate, in denen sich aus unterschiedlichen Gr\u00fcnden artenreiche Lebensr\u00e4ume entwickelt haben\u201c, berichtet der bne.<\/p>\n

Positiv wirkten sich beispielsweise die Abgeschiedenheit der Parks, geringe menschliche Eingriffe w\u00e4hrend des laufenden Betriebs der Anlagen und der Verzicht auf Pestizide aus. Gro\u00dfe Fl\u00e4chen von Solarparks k\u00f6nnen somit wichtige Lebensr\u00e4ume f\u00fcr bedrohte Tier- und Pflanzenarten darstellen. Entdeckt wurden die gef\u00e4hrdeten V\u00f6gel nun auf dem Gel\u00e4nde einer Photovoltaikanlage im brandenburgischen Oranienburg, die auf dem Gel\u00e4nde eines ehemals milit\u00e4risch genutzten Flughafens errichtet wurde. In einem Sonnenpark in Eggesin (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern), der auf dem Gel\u00e4nde einer ehemaligen Artilleriekaserne entstanden ist, haben Biologen Flederm\u00e4use entdeckt.<\/p>\n

Diese Form von Photovoltaik-Gro\u00dfanlagen wird auch \u201eBiodiversit\u00e4ts-Photovoltaik\u201c genannt. Teile der Industrie haben sich in Deutschland bereits dazu bekannt, Photovoltaikanlagen k\u00fcnftig aktiv mit Ma\u00dfnahmen auszustatten, die einen Beitrag zum Artenschutz leisten.<\/p>\n
