Ziegerink installierte auf dem Dach seines Einfamilienhauses eine Photovoltaikanlage und modifizierte einige der Module so, dass sie nicht nur Strom erzeugten, sondern auch die Heizung des Hauses ersetzten. Er konzipierte eine D\u00fcse, die an der R\u00fcckseite von Photovoltaikmodulen angebracht wird und als W\u00e4rmequelle f\u00fcr den Sole-Wasser-Kreislauf dient. Der Aufsatz sei auch zum nachtr\u00e4glichen Einbau geeignet, hei\u00dft es.<\/p>\n<p>Seine L\u00f6sung speist die W\u00e4rme des modifizierten Photovoltaikmoduls nicht direkt in die Heizungsanlage des Hauses ein, sondern nutzt sie als Quelle f\u00fcr eine W\u00e4rmepumpe. Die Fl\u00fcssigkeit zirkuliert zwischen einem W\u00e4rmetauscher auf dem Dach und einer W\u00e4rmepumpe, die sie abk\u00fchlt und zur\u00fcck auf das Dach pumpt, wo sie in der Umgebungsluft wieder erw\u00e4rmt wird. Da f\u00fcr diesen Vorgang keine Sonneneinstrahlung erforderlich ist, kann der Thermoblock des Moduls bei niedrigeren Temperaturen arbeiten als herk\u00f6mmliche Solarthermiekollektoren. Zudem heizt sich der W\u00e4rmetauscher nachts durch die Umgebungsluft auf, da seine R\u00fcckseite nicht isoliert ist. In Bezug auf die Garantiefrage \u00fcberzeugte Ziegerink den Hersteller des PV-Moduls, dass sein W\u00e4rmetauscher keinerlei Auswirkungen auf das Modul habe, durch den K\u00fchleffekt aber die elektrische Leistung erh\u00f6he.
