The seminar formed the fifth session of the Solar Universities seminar series on the global energy transition, launched in February 2023 and including 8 thematic seminars on key aspects of the energy transition and the accompanying challenges within the specific context of Central Asia and the Caucasus.<\/p>\n<p>The seminar provided an extensive overview of inverters as a key component of PV systems.<br \/>\nBuilding on the results of the last workshop &#8220;Components of Photovoltaic Systems&#8221;, the seminar participants also gained a deeper knowledge of other components of photovoltaic systems, both from a scientific and business perspective.<br \/>\nMoreover, at the end of the seminar, Albek Sarbassov, the director of the Kazakh PV project developer &#8220;eco energy&#8221;, shared his insights on the latest developments and trends in the industry.<\/p>\n<p>We will continue our Solar Universities seminar series in October 2023 with a seminar on agricultural applications of PV systems.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On 14 June 2023, ideas into energy gGmbH hosted a seminar for professors and students in Central Asia and the Caucasus, covering the functioning and role of inverters in PV systems.
