In the first part of the seminar, Prof. em. Alexander Kiryuchin gave an overview on agricultural applications of PV and how they can provide multiple benefits by reducing costs and increasing yields for farmers in Central Asia and the Caucasus. In the second part of the seminar, a business case on solar irrigation systems in Uzbekistan was presented.
