Electricity for remote villages

In very remote villages there is often no connection to the central power grid because the implementation of power lines in remote areas is very expensive and therefore not profitable for the power grid operator. 

In this scenario, a PV system can also supply an entire village with electricity.

The excess production can be temporarily stored in batteries and thus ensure the electricity supply at night
