Kimyo International University
The Kimyo International University was founded in 2018 on the initiative of the governments of Uzbekistan and South Korea as the first private university in Uzbekistan. The university was originally called “Technical Institute in Tashkent” and cooperated closely with South Korea’s Yeoju University. In 2022, the institute was renamed “Kimyo International University”. Since then, the university has opened two additional branches in other Uzbek cities (Namangan and Samarkand).
The range of courses offered by Kimyo International University is diverse. The university offers 29 bachelor’s and 20 master’s degree programs (as of February 2024), including renewable energy, engineering, international economic relations, economics and finance, international marketing, medicine, art and education. In addition to Uzbek lecturers, experts from South Korea, the USA, England, Germany, France, Italy, Japan and Malaysia teach at the university.
