Replacement of diesel generators

Replacement of diesel generators

In remote areas, some important buildings like this health centre are sometimes not connected to the power grid. Instead, expensive, noisy and dirty diesel generators produce the electricity.

Here, the photovoltaic systems are used as the main power source or as a backup power source for  medical equipment and refrigerators for vaccines, replacing the diesel generators.

If you want to replace the diesel generators altogether, you also need solar storage for the nighttime when no solar power is produced due to lack of solar radiation. The electricity generated during the day is therefore always fully consumed first in these systems and any surpluses from solar power generation are then temporarily stored in batteries.
