The solar plant on the Samara Gymnasium №1 goes into operation

At the beginning of November, the installation of the seventh photovoltaic system within the project "Solar schools" was completed at the high school №1 in Samara. The installation was carried out by "Free Energy" in Samara and we thank the company for its great work.

A special feature of the system in Samara is that the roof of the school porch is advantageously located at the window level of the opposite computer science classroom, so that students, teachers and guests of the school can see the solar panels with their own eyes at any time. In addition, this system uses a technical solution that allows the solar panels to be temporarily disconnected from the rest of the system, so that students can see for themselves the resulting changes in the solar system's power generation output by turning off individual panels.

The system in Samara, like all other solar systems, was again designed by SOLAR23 and the components were supplied from Germany. The installed maximum power is 1 kW.

The opening ceremony for the Samara solar school will take place on November 13, 2020, in an online format.
