Electricity for farms

Large roof areas, such as those found in agriculture, are often equipped with PV systems to produce electricity.

The solar modules are mounted on the roofs and converted to alternating current by an inverter in the building.

Some of the electricity can be used by the company itself, thereby reducing electricity costs. Surplus electricity can be fed into the power grid to sell at a fixed rate in many countries.
