Online-seminar for German teachers of the Solar Schools in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan

On 23 December 2022 and 18 January 2023, ideas into energy gGmbH with the support of Goethe-Institut hosted two workshops for the German teachers of the four Solar Schools in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. The workshops addressed how the concept of Content Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) can be applied for integrating the topic of solar energy interactively in German lessons. Apart from that, the German teachers also learned how to best make use of the digital resources of the Solar Schools project, including digital learning platforms.

The workshop was attended by 36 German teachers from the Solar Schools School No. 18 in Almaty (Kazakhstan), School No. 46 in Astana (Kazakhstan), School No. 60 in Tashkent (Uzbekistan) as well as the Academic Lyceum in Karshi (Uzbekistan). The German teachers are now well-equipped to apply the topic of solar energy in an interactive and touchable manner in class.
