Online Workshop for physics teachers of Solar Schools in Tashkent and Almaty
On Wednesday 19 October 2022, an online seminar was held for the physics teachers of School No. 18 in Almaty and School No. 60 in Tashkent, that were inaugurated in September and October 2022. Its purpose was to explain the use of the solar suitcase for experiments in class, the basics of renewables as well as the integration of the installed solar panels in class. 19 school teachers attended the event, including the school directors Guljamila Nauryzbaeva and Tatyana Nekrasova.
In the first part of the workshop, Professor Emeritus Alexander Kiryuchin and Dmitriy Kushnikovsky of Lex Solar focused on the economic, technical and geographical potential of renewable energy sources, in particular for Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
In the second part, Dmytriy Kushnikovsky demonstrated the functionality of the solar suitcase, that were handed over to the schools during the inauguration ceremonies. He introduced the participants to the technical components and demonstrated the possibilities of integrating the solar suitcase into the learning process, thanks to more than 20 different experiments. The teachers are now well-equipped to integrate solar energy into their classes, in a practical and hands-on manner.
