Electricity for the household

Electricity for the household

These solar panels installed on the roofs of homes generate electricity for the household.

The solar panels are installed to provide renewable electricity in the houses for self-consumption, thereby helping to reduce the load on local power grids.

It also allows the homeowner in Germany to save money. In Germany, the electricity generated by the solar system is now cheaper than the electricity price that a homeowner must pay to his energy supplier for the purchase of electricity. So, if you have a suitable roof with enough surface area and good orientation to the sun, it is financially worthwhile for the homeowner to produce the electricity with their own photovoltaic system and to consume it within their own household.

Electricity that cannot be used at certain times can be fed into the local power grid, or the system is additionally equipped with battery storage. This stored energy is needed for consumption early in the morning and in the evening, when the system cannot produce any electricity.
