Online event on the opening of the project “Solar schools” in PASCH School №1502 in Moscow and PASCH Lyceum №93 in Ufa
The official openings of the solar systems took place in October 2019 at the Moscow school №1502 and in February 2020 at the lyceum №93 in Ufa. Both schools belong to the PASCH network and are supervised by the Goethe-Institut. On November 6, 2020, an online event was held at the two schools as part of the "Solar schools" project, attended by the school administrators, teachers and students, as well as representatives of the "Schools – Partners for the Future" (PASCH) initiative of the Goethe-Institut Moscow.
During the online event, the systems and application were presented to visualize the work of the solar system and the students had the opportunity to watch an educational film on the topic of "solar energy". Representatives of each school gave interesting presentations about the specifics of their own school.
The students also took part in an interesting online quiz on the topic of "solar energy" using the smartphone application Actionbound and tested their knowledge of physics and German. Many participants of the quiz showed excellent results. The best of them received special prizes:
